Sr. Manager, Email Marketing

What We’re Looking For:
The Email Marketing Manager leads a team of email marketing specialists/senior specialists and oversees the final quality assurance (QA) check of email campaigns, new program launches, and related assets. Must be analytical, results-driven, and have a strong understanding of email channel monetization, targeting, test design, campaign execution, and campaign management. You must thrive in a fast-paced business environment and have a proven ability to adapt to changing priorities, strict deadlines, quality execution, and superior customer service.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Lead and develop a team of Email Marketing Specialists/Senior Specialists, including the final review (QA) of all email marketing assets.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop email communication strategies informed by email analytics with the goal to drive revenue, improve overall email performance, and maintain high email deliverability.
- Lead implementation of standardized best practices in automation, deliverability, testing, and other process related to campaign optimization.
- Maintain documentation of email procedures, training materials, team process, serving as a key point of contact for enhancements related to multi-channel verticals.
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
- 5+ years experience in email marketing - lead nurturing, merchandising, automation.
- 1+ years of experience with managing and developing individual contributors
- Expert level with multiple ESPs: Braze (preferred), Salesforce Marketing Cloud (preferred), Hubspot, Constant Contact, Mailchimp, etc.
- Email coding in HTML, CSS, SQL, Ampscript (a plus)
- Strong problem-solving skills and adept at troubleshooting.
- Embrace a “test and learn” mindset by bringing a rigorous testing framework to every email sent.
- Strong data analysis skills - ability to derive insights to advance recommendations for optimization and/or the creation of additional campaigns to support key findings.
- Must display excellent time management and organization skills as well as enjoy working on multiple projects with different timelines
- Must be a team-player, able to effectively communicate with various stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree required

The anticipated base salary range for this role is ($95,000-$115,000), with potential bonus and equity eligibility. Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, budget for the position and cost of labor in the market in which the candidate will be hired.
