Michael Kurbjeweit is 2U’s chief marketing officer, responsible for creating alignment and efficiencies across all global marketing functions. He has spent the last decade driving acquisition, conversion, and platform marketing strategies for the company and its partners.
Since beginning his tenure in 2013, Kurbjeweit has led highly effective marketing organizations and functions, with particular focus in performance marketing. His entire career has been dedicated to creating new, bold approaches to demand generation, digital strategy, marketing analytics, and revenue generation.
Kurbjeweit holds a B.A. in Communications from Christopher Newport University and a M.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University. He also graduated from the 2U-powered Harvard Business Analytics Program in 2020.
When not rolling up his sleeves at work, Michael enjoys time with his daughter (Chloe), wife (Ginny), and Samoyed pup (Koda). Whenever possible, he tries to improve his golf game.
